Your Creations / Issues with my level "Disarm the Bomb"
« on: July 23, 2013, 03:56:27 PM »
I recently checked the Most Played list and noticed that my level "Disarm the Bomb" was somehow ranked pretty high.
However, it messed up (the bomb explodes straight away) every time I tried to load it, so it probably has that many plays because people kept trying to load it properly without success.

After a bit of testing, I found two main issues:
  • Glitch where moving electros disappear or move in the opposite direction when loading the level (old glitch)
  • Cooler/heater function was changed in an update? It was too weak for the detectors to work properly

I might try to make an updated version or something to make up for this.

Development / How The Sandbox can be improved: Campaigns
« on: January 18, 2013, 05:57:13 AM »
What makes this sandbox game different form others is mainly the campaign mode. This means that the developers should focus on this and add more campaign content (after fixing bugs).
Campaign mode needs:
  • More campaigns with more levels
  • Some campaigns that can be bought in different ways (achievements, mana, completing other campaigns)
  • More restrictions on some campaign levels such as in Lonely Human (bar user from using eraser, tnt, electro, temperature system, ect)

Campaigns with a storyline such as Lonely Human are a good idea, they don't always need to have humans in them either.

One thing that puts people off from buying them is the cost for content.
e.g. I  bought Lonely Human for several dollars, then completed it in under half an hour.

Other Games / Deepworld
« on: December 23, 2012, 05:18:26 PM »
This is a MMO sandbox game on Mac and iPad inspired by Minecraft and Terraria.
It is in a post-apocalyptic steampunk setting and is still a very new game!

My username on Deepworld and Deepworld Forums is Oxidis.

It has a great hand-drawn graphics style like this (but no logic gates in the game yet).
In the picture I am on my private world.

Now I should just put everything in one topic, but seriously, I'm starting to feel like Pixowl.

Here is one of my first uploads:    "STOP Reposting!"
Featuring Disapproval guy(ಠ_ಠ) and Asian dad, they both disapprove of reposts!

Feedback / New ideas for basic/main elements
« on: December 12, 2012, 04:51:48 PM »
The basic/main element list should be expanded with more elements.
Post your ideas here. They must be universal (not conveyer belts/animals)

Idea: Mercury-  Is a metal but is liquid at room temperature (and higher) unlike generic metal which is always a solid. Molten metals including mercury still conduct electricity. Will be useful in wiring, maybe include solid mercury at cold temperature.

Your Creations / He's a pirate - made with note blocks
« on: December 10, 2012, 10:38:45 AM »
It's kind of sad seeing Pixowl posting sample levels since there is no one else, so I will post here more often!

This world took ages to make, although it is mostly copied from a score. It is pretty fast (6 ticks per beat since 8 was too slow)
I will upload it soon as "He is a pirate."

Somehow, my iPhone screenshot is too big to attach.

Feedback / Some small things that you need to fix!
« on: December 07, 2012, 02:59:44 PM »
  • When you load a world, it might be frozen so you have to open and close the menu for it to run.
  • Sometimes when you load or undo a world, an electric current in one of the metals might glich out and start producing more electros in all directions, sometimes this happens when there are no electros present, just metal.

Minor improvements
  • Add the apostrophe, colon and question mark to the keyboard please!
  • Instead of having world ratings round down, let them round up at .5, otherwise a world that gets rated <5 can never be five stars.

Thank you.

Your Creations / My latest creation: Zelda Theme v2
« on: December 03, 2012, 02:57:40 PM »
I must have spent over three hours making this one, I think it is my best yet!
It has a noteblock version of the Legend of Zelda theme and some pixel art from Minish Cap.
I'm hoping that it will rank well  ;)

Introduction / Hello there!
« on: December 03, 2012, 02:41:31 PM »
Nice to meet everyone!
This forum seemed a little quiet when I registered, but that might change!
On Sandbox, I've uploaded a few levels. My forum name is same as my sandbox name.
