Check Internet Connection Error

Like many others, I'm receiving the Check Internet Connection error when attempting to load the game.  I'm on a MacBook Pro using Yosemite 10.10.3, connecting via WiFi (cable internet).

The app on my phone is functioning correctly (iPhone 4S, iOS 8.4, same connection method), so I assume it's not server maintenance.  Any help would be appreciated.
