I like the idea of Cactus.

But what will all those livestock animals eat? Doubt they like Algae.

Oh yeah. :p

Now that I think about it, we're kinda overdo for a Grass element..

How about trees that grow fruit?

Livestock can also eat the sunflowers.

Diffrent note instraments will turn it from 16 bit music(thats what the music is when its just the piano like it is).

Hey, we do have a Grass element! It grows on Mud when there's light shining on it! :P

Adding Minecraftian animals (I saw what you did there  ;D) is further along the roadmap.
Don't worry, The Sandbox is here to stay and we'll all be swimming in content eventually :)

Yay!And for the different note instruments, I was thinking like beat, drum, guitar, etc., sort of Minecraft!  :P

A friend of mine is our sound designer and he'll be helping us with new instruments further down the roadmap.

What do you prefer? Minecraft's system of putting an element below to pick an instrument or a bigger GUI window?

I think it would be easier just to have a bigger GUI, especially with many of the elements being effected by gravity.

Also, cyprus trees would be a cool addition. :P

The 3 types of elements i want in the game most are:

Neon: only one metal lead needed to power. as long as all the neon is connected it will all glows(colors are an option for it), but the electro gets destroyed in the end/disappears.

?Uknown?: A strange liquid that gets solid in heat and liquid when wet. When hot enough, it will evaporate into nothing. When put on metal, it melts it. When it is put in water, it turns the water to wine that can burn but at a low temperature. When mixed with acid, acid is destroyed. When put into mist, forms a mist of wine.  When mixed with stone it will turn into acid. When put near Void, it will stick to the outside of the void, but when a squae is formed around it, everything outside will fall(of ?Uknown?

Copper: A weaker metal but highly conductive of electricity. It can be melted only once. When melted it will still be conductive. Once it cools down and solidifies, it because so hard enough to not melt.  If you put electro on it, it will go strait to the bottom and then go in both directions the strait up, once it meets, it will got in one(or both directions if possible) and if it meets up with any other electro, it will take both and go strait down and repeat.

I know that the Copper one would be hardest, so i wouldnt expect any of the developers to even think of it.

Neon sounds fun!
Unknown is bananas :D
Copper is hard, the cellular automata that we use for the electrical simulation (Wireworld) isn't very malleable :P

We'll see... we have some time left before release  :)

I did say that copper would probably not end up on the elements if seen, atleast the melting piece. And thats why ?unknown? has unknown and 2 ?'s. it is a mystery what it is and what is going to happen >:D

I like the ideas with the animals. They could maybe eat flowers! One thing that would be cool would be people. Or auto-build houses, because that would be so much easier than buying all the crystals to make houses. Something else that could happen could be paint! :D

Solo, paint could be like water but colored and when it mixes with any other color(regular water too, but that is considered clear) it will mix colors. but when placed with water, water inherits the color instead of mixing. add some Spice to the mix :D

I was thinking of paint more as just a block modifyer that when used on a pixel changes the color of that pixel. But the water paint would be really cool, too! I hadn't thought of that! Great idea!
